Prime retail supply stood at ca. 2.18 mil m² by the end of the first quarter of 2023. Bratislava region accounts for the majority, representing approx. 34%, followed by Kosice, Nitra and Zilina region.
Majority of the modern retail stock is represented by Shopping centres with 65% followed by Retail parks with ca. 27%. The rest of the stock with the share of 8% consists of Retail Galleries, Department stores and Concept stores.
There is currently ca. 52,200 m² of new retail area under construction. Largest projects are situated in Bratislava and Kosice.
