Slovakia’s economy is going through a rough patch, with the Omicron variant driving a surge in cases. The current weakness in activity has resulted in a further 0.2ppt downgrade to their 2022 GDP growth forecast, now at 3.6%. They expect the economy to make further gains in 2023, growing 5.1%.
