CEE Investment Market – H2 2022 Summary
Poland maintained its position among CEE countries generating 55% of total investment transactions. Most deals were recorded in the office and industrial sectors

Poland
In 2022, turnover in Poland was driven by the office sector, reaching €2.2 billion, a 26% increase when compared to 2021. The second most active sector, the industrial sector, generated total volumes of €2.0 billion in 2022. The retail and residential sectors' volumes reached €1.4 billion and €0.4 billion, respectively.
Czech Republic
The Czech Republic's second half of 2022 provided transactional volumes of €456 million. That represents a decrease of 56% compared to the same period last year and a 64% decrease against H1 2022. The total investment volume for the whole of 2022 reached €1.7 billion, equaling 2021 results.
Hungary
The Hungarian investment market generated a volume of just over €920 million, marking the country's lowest annual activity since 2015. The office sector was the most active during 2022, which generated approx. 35% of the annual investment volume.
Romania
In Romania, the property investment volume is estimated at approx. €1.29 billion, which is 40% higher than the one registered in 2021. The investment volumes were dominated by office transactions, with approx. 61% of the total, followed by retail (24%), industrial (9%) and hotels & residential (6%).
Slovakia
The Slovak investment volume was a record year: the annual volume of investment reached € 1.1 billion in 2022. The office sector was the dominant one with 44% share in H2 (54% annually); followed by retail: 38% share in H2 (31% annually); and industrial & logistics: 14% share in H2 (13% annually).
