Role Objectives

​Your rotation programme will include:

  • Placements in Valuation, Research & Advisory and Capital Markets departments

  • Academic and business introduction to commercial real estate

  • Full training and understanding of RICS valuation methods and financial models

  • Valuations of all real estate classes (residential, offices, industrial, retail, hotels, land) incl. supervised financial modelling and drafting valuation reports   

  • Full training in data analysis and interpretation of market trends

  • Preparation of market reports and presentations

  • Advisory – preparation of feasibility studies, best-use studies, business strategy assessment etc.

  • Cap markets acquisitions – buy side client representation (due diligence, financial underwriting)

  • Cap markets divestment – sell side client representation (preparation phase, marketing period, transaction processing) 

  • Soft skills development: attending client meetings, understanding clients’ needs

  • Winning instructions: preparation of tailored made proposal, pitches, cross-departmental client solutions ​

Accountabilities

​The graduate programme will fully prepare you for a successful career in commercial real estate thanks to a mix of interesting assignments that will be pleasure to work on. You will be offered a chance to team up with Valuation, Research & Advisory and Capital Markets departments during your first year at JLL. 

​Subsequently, based on your personal preferences, skill set and current business needs you will be offered a permanent position in one of these departments. Required Qualifications

  • Recent masters-degree graduate / post sabbatical professional / encore career seeker

  • English – fluent (C1 – C2); other languages – advantageous

  • MS Word, PowerPoint – almost full proficiency

  • MS Excel – intermediate (you will be trained, but self-learning is key to also necessary)

  • Strong analytical and logic skills (strong academic proficiency in mathematics is advantageous)   

  • Interest in graphic design and ability to produce highly aesthetic content   

  • Ability to take the extra mile on all assignments under all circumstances

  • Responsible and dedicated approach

  • Precision, patience, communication 

  • Prepared to learn and work in team but still be able to work alone on given tasks with support of the team leader

  • Endurance – ability to work on long-term projects spanning from 6 to 18 months

  • Persistence – our ability to work on interesting projects is usually based on not so exciting preparation and market understanding

  • Open mindedness and an automatic inner will to change and improve things, processes and people
